Do you know your road signs?

We've been talking about this all morning because the elderly people crossing road-sign may be scrapped because campaigners feel it is insulting to today's fitter, healthier senior citizens.
Here's a bit of trivia for you...
Did you know the sign came from a children's design competition in 1981.
We asked your favourite daft road signs and once again you came up trumps:
It's true Tom none of the elderly have sticks these days they are all Lewis Hamilton wannabes in those motorised chairs Jasper in Byker
Motor bike above car: low flying motor bikes from Go Joe ashington
I pass a sign every day that reads blagdon and underneath airport loads of people ask where blagdon airport is and where they fly Martin
Mud on road, keep looking for the band, never seen them yet. steve
The road sign ‘slow children playing' always makes me smile surely it's not very PC to call children slow. Colin
I was in America and I genuinely saw a road sign that said. To turn left make three right turns. I'll send you a picture of it
Heavy plant crossing ie. triffid mick Washington
